It appears that Alex Jones, founder of the alt-right conspiracy theory website InfoWars, is finally starting to accept that Donald Trump isn’t the savior the far right wished he’d be.
During a broadcast on Friday night, he had an emotional breakdown after Trump ordered strikes on three targets in Syria, causing tension with Russia.
The strikes were ordered in response to a chemical attack in the city of Douma left 70 civilians dead. The US and its allies suspect that the Syrian government was behind it, which Russia and the Assad regime claim was actually carried out by rebels.
Jones is convinced that Russians are the “good guys” in taking the Syrian government’s side against rebels, and news of the Trump-approved attacks resulted in a raging, tearful rant in which he moaned about Trump’s “purity” being corrupted and his feelings that Trump is “crapping all over us.”
“If he had been a piece of crap from the beginning, it wouldn’t be so bad,” said Jones, who clearly has a different view of what constitutes being a “piece of crap” than the most of world, which recognized Trump as one from the start. “We’ve made so many sacrifices and now he’s crapping all over us. It makes me sick.”
At one point he raged that he’s “not in a f*cking cult” for Trump, adding, “F*ck him! F*ck his family!”
During another part of his tirade, he asked, “Is there nobody f*cking pure in this goddamned world?”
He also declared that Trump “is now a fraud” and that “they have broken Trump.”
Jones’ realization is nothing short of hilarious.
