Joe Biden Unloads And Calls Trump A Flat Out Liar

Last updated on July 18th, 2023 at 11:24 am

Former vice president Joe Biden said what others wouldn’t. The real reason why Republicans talk about voter fraud is that they don’t want working class and black people voting. Biden also said that Trump was flat out lying about foreigners voting.

Video:

Al Sharpton asked Biden about Trump’s claim that foreigners are voting.

Biden answered, “It’s a lie. It’s a flat lie. The assertion the president made is a flat lie. Every study. Every program — it’s simply not true. It’s part of a big lie. You realize just in past year in 24 states the administration’s allies have introduced 60 pieces of legislation or maybe 70 pieces of legislation to curtail the franchise. It’s what they are all about. They don’t want working class folks to vote. They don’t want black folks to vote. Look what we are doing now. There’s a movement. You have George Will making the argument that felons should have their — after serving their time the right restored to vote. We want them to engage in society again. What’s the most significant thing you can do to engage? Get in and vote.”

The former vice president also didn’t rule out running in 2020, and one thing is already clear. Joe Biden isn’t afraid to be blunt about Trump. He isn’t going to worry about triangulating or alienating potential voters. Biden is speaking the truth. Biden is Biden. The idea that foreigners are voting is crazy, but Republicans use it because it appeases Trump and advances their cause of making it more difficult for voters who are likely to support Democratic candidates to cast their ballots.

There is a vigorous debate over whether or not Biden should or shouldn’t run, but if he chooses to run. That question will be answered by the Democratic primary, but Biden doesn’t fear Trump. He sees him for who he really is, and directly taking him on.
