‘I Will Vote You Out’: Parkland Marcher Tells Trump To Act On Gun Violence Or Get Out Of Office

A young man marching participating in Saturday’s “March For Our Lives” demonstration in Parkland, Florida told Trump on live TV that if nothing is done to curb gun violence, the president will be voted out of office.

“Mr. President, if you are watching, I am watching you,” the student said to the president, promising to vote him out of office if he doesn’t stand up to the NRA and embrace gun control measures.

The activist said: “It’s about time that we see change. … Mr. President, if you’re watching, I am watching you. And you better darn know that I will make sure that you sign that bill into law and that you will change this, or so help me, I will vote you out.”

Hundreds of thousands calling on Trump, GOP to act

The young man was just one voice in a crowd of thousands that gathered to march in Parkland, Florida – a community still grieving after a gunman took out 17 innocent people, including 14 students, at a mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Feb. 14.

Across the country and the world, from Washington D.C. to Spain, hundreds of thousands of other young demonstrators gathered to echo the Parkland survivors’ call to action. Enough is enough.

If the president and his NRA-owned Republican colleagues in Congress don’t listen to these voices and act according, not only will they lose their jobs this November, but the United States will continue to be plagued with unspeakable gun violence.
