McCabe Has Given His Memos On Conversations With Trump To Mueller

The AP reported Saturday that Andrew McCabe, who was fired from his position as deputy director of the FBI late Friday night, kept memos on his talks with President Trump, as well as on details regarding the firing of former FBI director James Comey.

The latest reports are now saying McCabe has turned over these memos to special counsel Robert Mueller, the lead investigator in the FBI’s Russia probe.

A source told CNN that McCabe had four interactions with Trump during his time at the FBI — three in-person conversations and one phone call.

Though the contents have yet to be released, the talk surrounding McCabe’s memos so far make it sound as though they contain information that’ll dig Trump’s grave deeper than it already is.

MSNBC’s Joy Reid tweeted, “Republican source to me just now: ‘The McCabe Memos are the new Pentagon Papers.’ #MuellerTime”

McCabe’s statement following his dismissal also suggests Trump is specifically concerned about what the deputy director knows.

“Here is the reality: I am being singled out and treated this way because of the role I played, the actions I took, and the events I witnessed in the aftermath of the firing of James Comey,” McCabe said.

Shouldn’t take long to find out what specifically McCabe witnessed that shook up Trump so much.
