It seems Nikki Haley might want out of her job as well. Holding Russia accountable for the chemical attack on the former Russian spy and his daughter is a good way to get fired from the Trump White House, if reports about former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s firing are to be believed.
Thus far, President Trump has been unwilling to firmly hold Russia accountable in spite of assessments that they are behind the attack. Conservative U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May’s was also oddly generous to Russia. May expelled 23 Russian spies, a move that does nothing to Putin.
UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) – U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said on Wednesday the United States believes Russia is responsible for a chemical attack in Britain on a former Russia double agent and his daughter, and the U.N. Security Council should take action.
“The United States believes that Russia is responsible for the attack on two people in the United Kingdom using a military-grade nerve agent,” Haley told a Security Council meeting.
