Trump Humiliates Himself While Talking To Parkland Survivors At The White House

Trump couldn’t even hold a listening session without embarrassing himself in front of Parkland survivors, as Trump promised to get the strongest and most important ideas on gun violence.

Video:

Trump said, “I just wanted to say before we begin, we are going to be very strong on background checks. We’ll be doing strong background checks, very strong emphasis on the mental health of somebody, and we are going to do plenty of other things. Again, next week the governors are coming in from most of the states and have a serious talk about what’s going on with school safety, very important. And we’re going to cover every aspect of it. There are many ideas I have, there are many ideas other people have and we’re going to go with the strongest ideas, most important ideas, ideas that are going to work and we’re going to get them done. It’s not going to be talk like it has been in the past. It’s been going on too long, too many instances and we’re going to get it done. So, again, I want to thank you all for being here.”

Trump embarrassed himself in front of the Parkland survivors

It is impossible for this president to act like a human being in any situation. Notice that there was no expression of empathy or compassion for the survivors of the mass shooting. Trump could only talk about how his ideas are going to be the strongest and more important in history. Despite the fact that people are dying every day from gun violence, Trump isn’t going to hold any meetings until next week.

Being a competent president is too much to ask of Trump. That is impossible and it is never going to happen, but Trump isn’t even capable of behaving like a person. Trump’s empty boasts aren’t going to cut it, and his words in a time of national sorrow are an inadequate disgrace.
