Trump Touts Bogus Poll And Memo While Screaming No Collusion In Saturday Morning Meltdown

Trump was oddly silent until he arrived at the golf course and took to his Twitter account to push bogus polls and memos in a Saturday morning meltdown.

Trump tweeted:

The quick and dirty debunking of Trump’s tweets

1). The memo was written by the staff of Trump stooge Devin Nunes, and the White House, so no Mr. President, you can’t write your own memo and declare yourself vindicated.

2). The Rasmussen daily tracking poll is junk. Most daily tracking polls and all online polls are trash. Rasmussen is a conservative pollster with a laughably poor accuracy record. Trump is still the least popular president in the history of polling, even with the small uptick, which has come from Republicans and Republican leaners in the polling.

The memo is fueling Trump’s meltdown

Instead of giving Trump a weapon to attack the Russia investigation, the memo has fed the President’s delusions and convinced him that the FBI is a Hillary/Obama conspiracy to bring him down. The memo has flopped with the nation at large and had the opposite effect of what it was supposed to do for Trump. The memo put the Russia scandal back at the top of the news and sent Trump into another tailspin of self-delusion.

The president is melting down faster than the Wicked Witch of the West in the Wizard of Oz. Republicans didn’t extinguish the blaze that is Trump’s broken psyche; the memo was more gasoline on an already out of control fire.
