Trump Bombs In His First State Of The Union As America Has Caught On To His Con

Donald Trump gave a State Of The Union that bombed as the American people have caught on to the president’s one trick con.

Trump only knows how to lie while dividing and his State Of The Union was no different.

Here is an example of a Trump promise that contained no policy, “Together, we can reclaim our building heritage. We will build gleaming new roads, bridges, highways, railways, and waterways across our land. And we will do it with American heart, American hands, and American grit.”

Trump’s State Of The Union was pointless. It like the Trump presidency had no central theme. Much of what Trump said was the same thing that he has been saying for years going back to his time as a candidate. There was no leadership. There was no focus. Trump didn’t offer any ideas. He simply hit his same old talking points, while appealing to his base of support.

The division came on immigration when Trump said, “For decades, open borders have allowed drugs and gangs to pour into our most vulnerable communities. They have allowed millions of low-wage workers to compete for jobs and wages against the poorest Americans. Most tragically, they have caused the loss of many innocent lives.”

Trump was nearly booed at his own State Of The Union:

The con is up. Donald Trump knows nothing. Trump has nothing but hate and division to offer the country. People have caught on. Trump is an empty suit. A shell of a human being who does not belong in the Oval Office. Trump read the words that were written for him, but his speech was rudderless and lacking in integrity and vision.

Donald Trump talked about a presidency during his State Of The Union, but it wasn’t his own. It was a fantasy presidency that ignored the incompetence, racism, bigotry, and failure of this president.

Trump’s speech didn’t just bomb. It exposed Trump as a con man with no new cons.
