Republicans Terrify Trump With A Slideshow On The Upcoming Democratic Blue Wave Perfect Storm

Days before Trump went off on his racist s-hole rant; Republicans presented Trump with a slideshow detailing the blue wave that is coming to sweep Republicans out of total power in 2018.

The Washington Post reported:
The concern has grown so acute that Trump received what one congressional aide described as a “sobering” slide presentation about the difficult midterm landscape at Camp David last weekend, leading the president to pledge a robust schedule of fundraising and campaign travel in the coming months, White House officials said.

But the trends have continued, and perhaps worsened, since that briefing, with two more prominent Republican House members announcing plans to retire from vulnerable seats and a would-be recruit begging off a Senate challenge to Democrat Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota despite pressure from Trump to run.

Republicans have all three ingredients of a wave election working against them. The GOP is stuck with the least popular president in history heading into his first midterm. Republicans can’t find good candidates, while longtime incumbents are retiring, and they are struggling to raise money. These three factors along with a very motivated Democratic opposition that is driven to begin to right what they view as the great 2016 election wrong combine to form a blue superstorm that grows in strength and power with every Trump racist tweet or comment.

The slideshow may have “sobered” Trump up, but it didn’t change anything because days later the President went off on his racist rant about immigrants from African countries and sent the GOP back into a tailspin.

Only one issue matters beyond all others in the upcoming midterm election, and that is Trump.

The majority of the country has been in a state of organized resistance and rebellion since Trump won the election. Outside of removing Trump from office, there is nothing that Republicans can do that will turn this momentum around.

The big blue wave is coming, and as long as Trump keeps being Trump, it looks like it could be unstoppable.
