Trump told reporters that he is the least racist person while blaming Democrats for his own opposition to a deal on DACA.

Here was Trump’s exchange with reporters:
Trump: Honestly, I don’t think the Democrats want to make a deal. They talk about DACA, but they don’t want to help the DACA people. Now we used to say the DACA children, but the children — I think you have a lot of sticking points, but they’re all Democrat sticking points. We’re willing, ready and able to make a deal. They don’t want security at the border. We have people pouring in. They don’t want security at the border. They don’t want to stop drugs, and they want to take money away from our military, which we cannot do. So those are some of the sticking points.
Q: Do your comments make it harder?
Trump: Did you see what various senators in the room says about my comments? They weren’t made.
Trump: No, no, I’m not a racist. I am the least racist person you have ever interviewed. That I can tell you.
Trump didn’t know who the Dreamers were. He called them DACA children, DACA people, but he didn’t know that they are called Dreamers. The mentally unsteady president lost the term.
Donald Trump is trying to sell himself as not a racist when he has a history of racist comments as long as your arm. As far as blaming Democrats is concerned, that is the strategy that Trump is going to use to deport Dreamers and get what he thinks will be political cover.
Trump is the president. People aren’t buying his blame the opposition party when Republicans control both the White House and the Congress. Trump is why there is no deal on DACA. No one is buying it, if the Dreamers get deported. Trump and his Republican lackeys will be blamed.
