Trump Is Privately Bragging To His Rich Friends That His Tax Cut Just Made Them A Lot Richer

Trump told the truth about his tax cut while spending taxpayer money at his private club in Florida, as he told his rich friends that the tax cut bill he signed into law just made them a lot richer.

CBS News reported:

President Trump kicked off his holiday weekend at Mar-a-Lago Friday night at a dinner where he told friends, “You all just got a lot richer,” referencing the sweeping tax overhaul he signed into law hours earlier. Mr. Trump directed those comments to friends dining nearby at the exclusive club — including to two friends at a table near the president’s who described the remark to CBS News — as he began his final days of his first year in office in what has become known as the “Winter White House.”

Trump is rubbing it in the faces of hard-working Americans whose taxes will go up in future years that he lied to them. Trump and the GOP know that the tax cut is not going to help middle-class people. The whole point of the legislation was to make rich people richer.

What was left unsaid by the President was that the bill that he signed into law also made himself and his family a lot richer. Trump stands to make millions of dollars each year because the most financially conflicted president in history has not separated himself from his businesses.

The country is repulsed by the lack of morality behind the tax cut, but what is even worse than the lack of morality or the trashing of the legislative process, was the corruption that is the beating black heart of this legislation.

A fundamentally corrupt president and his party rammed a tax cut through Congress for their own gain.

Trump got the presidency by selling himself to Putin, and he is now using the office for personal financial enrichment.

Donald Trump is a cancer, and the only way to save US democracy is to remove him from office ASAP.
