After Stabbing America In Back On Tax Cuts, Mitch McConnell Won’t Say Roy Moore Shouldn’t Be In The Senate

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) managed to outdo himself after his late-night tax cut for the rich by refusing to say that Roy Moore should not be in the Senate.

Video:

Transcript via ABC’s This Week:

STEPHANOPOULOS: Do you believe that Judge Moore should be in the Senate?

MCCONNELL: I’m going to let the people of Alabama make the call. This election has been going on a long time. There’s been a lot of discussion about it. They’re going to make the decision a week from Tuesday.

STEPHANOPOULOS: But you are prepared to take action if he is, indeed, elected?

MCCONNELL: The ethics committee will have to consider the matters that have been litigated in the campaign should that particular candidate win.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Will you making a recommendation to the ethics committee?

MCCONNELL: Look, they decide what to go forward.

So Mitch McConnell is now a-ok with Roy Moore being in the Senate, and the reason is because if Democrat Doug Jones wins the Alabama election, and Bob Corker votes no on passed of the final bill, the vote will be a 50-50 deadlock. A tie vote would mean that any Republican Senator could kill the bill. McConnell would have zero margin for error, which is why having a pedophile in Senate who will vote to cut taxes for rich people is now something that the votes of Alabama should weigh in on.

Just when you think Mitch McConnell can’t get any lower, he jams a tax bill through the Senate in the middle of the night, then walks criticism of pedophile who is running as his party’s candidate in Alabama.

Forget whatever low you know, because Mitch McConnell can always go lower.
