Trump Suddenly Loses His Memory As He Begs People To Look At Clinton And DNC Instead Of Russia

Trump suddenly can’t remember meeting with his foreign policy team in 2016, as he practically begged the press to focus on Hillary Clinton and the DNC instead of the Russia scandal while leaving for his trip to Asia.

Video:

Here was the exchange as provided to PoliticusUSA by the White House press pool:

The March 2016 meeting with Papadopoulos:

“I don’t remember much about that meeting. It was a very unimportant meeting. It took place a long time ago. Don’t remember much about it.”

Inaudible follow-up question:

“All I can tell you is this — there was no collusion. There was no nothing. It’s a disgrace frankly that they continue. You ought to look at Hillary Clinton and you ought to look at the new book that was just put out by Donna Brazile where she basically bought the DNC and she stole the election from Bernie. That’s what you ought to look at.”

Trump is throwing everything and the kitchen sink at the American people to distract them from the Russia scandal. What the Clinton campaign and the DNC did wasn’t a crime. Trump is in the middle of a scandal where criminal indictments have been issued and there is already a guilty plea.

Every second that is wasted talking about the mess at the DNC plays into Trump’s hands. Hillary Clinton didn’t criminally collude with a foreign power that interfered in the presidential election.

Trump skated through the presidential election by turning all of the attention toward Hillary Clinton. He is trying to do the same thing as president. What the Clinton campaign did in the Democratic primary is not relevant. The Trump/Russia scandal is the story, and it is telling that a man who remembers every little slight against him, suddenly drew a blank when asked about a high profile meeting that links him to the Russia scandal.
