In a statement to reporters, Sec. of State Rex Tillerson never denied that he called Donald Trump a moron.
Video:
Tillerson reacted to an NBC News report that he called Donald Trump a moron by saying, “I’m not going to deal with petty stuff like that. I mean this is what I don’t understand about Washington. Again, I’m not from this place, but the places I come from, we don’t deal with that kind petty nonsense, and it’s intended to do nothing but divide people, and I’m just not going to be part of this effort to divide this administration.”
The only point worth noting in Tillerson’s statement is that he never denied that he called Donald Trump a moron after a July 20 meeting at the Pentagon, or that it took an intervention from Mike Pence to keep the Trump/Tillerson fight from exploding.
Tillerson called Trump a moron, and he doesn’t deny it. Count Rex Tillerson as another person who thought he could join the administration to do a job only to see his frustrations boil over because the President is an idiot.
Rex Tillerson will probably be gone from the Trump administration before the Spring of 2018, and America should be very concerned with the idea that Nikki Haley could be the next Secretary of State.
