The White House is trying to claim that Donald Trump inadvertently retweeted an image of a train running over a CNN reporter, but it looks suspiciously like days after Charlottesville, the President was promoting violence.
The White House’s excuse and the image that Trump retweeted:
What really happened was that Trump retweeted this image, which was originally tweeted at him and Fox and Friends among others, a grown up who monitors Trump’s account saw the image and thought, ‘this isn’t good,’ while deleting it in the hope that no one would notice.
Trump is the President, so people noticed.
There is a loud and clear message being sent by Trump. He wants to reassure his supporters that they should believe anything that Republicans and media pressure forces him to say. Trump didn’t really believe the statement condemning racism and bigotry. Those were just words designed to get him some good press. His true beliefs can be seen in his birther attack on Obama and retweeting of a violent image.
The White House is making up excuses because there is no way to explain why the President would be retweeting violent images days after Charlottesville.
The only explanation is that Trump believes that the left is responsible for the violence, and he is not going to condemn violent acts in his name by racist supports.
Since the White House won’t admit that Trump is enabling and encouraging racism, they have to come up with explanations and excuses that no one believes.
Trump has shown with his tweets on Tuesday that he doesn’t care about racism or violence in America. Instead of leading toward a solution, this president is fanning the flames of division.
