Mike Pence Flips Out After He Gets Busted Plotting A 2020 Campaign To Replace Trump

The New York Times caught Vice President Mike Pence running a shadow 2020 campaign in case Trump goes down for the Russia scandal, and the VP’s response to getting caught was a flip out that only confirmed his 2020 intentions.

After he got caught planning to replace Trump, Pence said:

Today’s article in the New York Times is disgraceful and offensive to me, my family, and our entire team. The allegations in this article are categorically false and represent just the latest attempt by the media to divide this Administration.

Thanks to the President’s leadership, we are rebuilding the military, ISIS is on the run, and we’ve seen more than 1 million jobs created while the stock market hits all-time highs.

The American people know that I could not be more honored to be working side by side with a president who is making America great again.

Whatever fake news may come our way, my entire team will continue to focus all our efforts to advance the President’s agenda and see him re-elected in 2020. Any suggestion otherwise is both laughable and absurd.

Ignore that super PAC that he’s been funding and the personal power base that Pence has been building. Forget all of those stops to key early Republican primary states that the Vice President has been making.

Pence knows that if Trump thinks that he is out to replace him, the President could very well knock him off of the ticket or even pressure him to resign from the vice presidency, which is why there was lots of sucking up to Trump in the statement.

The reality is that Pence has been getting an operation together for a potential 2020 run if Trump is not around. There is no honor among thieves, and the Trump White House does not run on loyalty.

No one has to try to divide this administration. It is already a mess.

Pence dropped all of Trump’s favorite buzz words in his statement, but it is obvious that the Vice President is planning for a 2020 run that may not involve Donald Trump.
