Sean Spicer is blaming White House reporters for the Trump White House going dark on briefings, but ABC’s Jonathan Karl made a list of 25 questions Sean Spicer has yet to answer.
Watch here via ABC:
Karl detailed why he put this montage together:
Asked if President Trump believes the Russians interfered in the 2016 presidential election, White House press secretary Sean Spicer told reporters this week he hasn’t had a chance to talk to his boss the about that issue.
“I’d be glad to touch base and get back to you,” Spicer responded.
If the past is any guide, it’s going to be a long wait. At White House briefings since May 1, Spicer and his deputy, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, have promised to come back with answers to more than 25 questions, but there is no public record of a single follow-up answer to any of those questions.
Spicer was on Laura Ingraham’s radio show Wednesday, an opportunity he used to he blame “snarky” reporters who want to be YouTube stars asking the same questions for the White House going off-camera and refusing to allow audio of the White House briefings.
As I explained this morning, the reason reporters are asking the same questions is because Spicer et al will not answer the questions.
No one is as belligerent or snarky as any of the Trump surrogates (Kellyanne Conway, Sean Spicer, Sarah Huckabee Sanders) who’ve already ruined their own reputations by sticking up for President Trump by denying reality on TV.
This is why no one wants to be Press Secretary for Donald Trump.
