Trump was supposed to give a statement on health care, so he showed up for 5 minutes in Wisconsin, lied about the Affordable Care Act then ran back to Air Force One to resume hiding from the Russia scandal.
Video of Trump:
Trump did, however, manage to bash the Affordable Care Act, the healthcare plan that brought affordable care to millions of Americans. Calling Obama Care a “disaster” (his favorite buzzword to describe the groundbreaking legislation), Trump said that Democrats will shut down every healthcare bill they put out, even if it is the “greatest healthcare plan ever.”
Many Senators and House Democrats have come forward and agreed to work with the administration on fixing ObamaCare, which would show a lot of bipartisanship and would to work together to best serve the American people. Instead, Trump and his supporters in the House and Senate continue to input their heavily partisan agendas by bashing the lifesaving plan every chance they get.
Five minutes into Trump’s lie filled tirade, he waved his hand to the crowd and walked away.
Instead of selling his own healthcare bill, Donald Trump is trying to survive by justifying taking away coverage from 23 million Americans.
