Donald Trump dedicated four words on his Twitter account to Easter but threw an unhinged tantrum over the nationwide protests demanding that he make his tax returns public.
Here was Trump’s Easter tweet:
Happy Easter to everyone!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 16, 2017
Then came this:
I did what was an almost an impossible thing to do for a Republican-easily won the Electoral College! Now Tax Returns are brought up again?
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 16, 2017
Someone should look into who paid for the small organized rallies yesterday. The election is over!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 16, 2017
Our military is building and is rapidly becoming stronger than ever before. Frankly, we have no choice!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 16, 2017
Trump’s Twitter account reveals a stream of conscience rant that goes something like; Christ has risen, Easter, blah, blah, blah. I won the Electoral College, so I get to do whatever I want. All protests are a conspiracy against me. Oh, and we have no choice but to bomb everyone because I have made the military strong.
One mention of the resurrection of Christ, and several mentions of the persecution of Donald Trump.
Trump knows why people want to see his tax returns because if there was nothing damaging in them, he would make them public. The Easter tweets were a case of classic Trump self-obsession and distraction techniques.
When people show that they don’t love Trump, the President responds with a tantrum, a conspiracy, and a distraction.
Trump’s tweets reveal the ramblings of an unhealthy man who will always put his fragile ego ahead of leading the country.
