Donald Trump was dealt yet another legal blow on Wednesday as a U.S. District Court Judge Derrick Watson of Hawaii has blocked the most recent version of his travel ban, which clearly targets Muslims and refugees.

The ban was set to take effect on Thursday at midnight – just hours from now – but once again the Trump administration was blocked in court. The halt is effective nationwide.
No matter how the president tries to package the executive order, he and his team cannot escape his campaign rhetoric saying he wanted to ban Muslims from entering the United States. Even after Trump took office, former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani admitted that the executive order was crafted in a way to legally ban Muslims from entering the country.
Trump and his team are finding out that there is no legal way to discriminate based on a person’s religion.
While the Republican-dominated Congress has turned a blind eye to Trump’s attempts at abusing his power, the courts are doing their best to keep him in check.
