Donald Trump complained this morning that the media isn’t being nice to his representatives:
It is amazing how rude much of the media is to my very hard working representatives. Be nice, you will do much better!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 13, 2017
This is a remarkable statement coming from a guy whose own resume of insults and put-downs is growing by the day. This is the guy, remember, who has said just about every vile thing a man can about a woman, including “fat pigs,” ”dogs,” ”slobs,” and “disgusting animals.”
The New York Times has been tracking all those rude comments from Trump. The list has swelled from the 250s to the 280s and is now up to 319 people, places, and things.
And Twitter was quick to remind him of his own rudeness when he mocked a reporter for his disability:
Dear 45: No one in the media is as rude as you were when you mocked a reporter with a disability. pic.twitter.com/csBDBtgRuJ

After calling the press “enemies of the American people” it is even more astonishing that he can find it in himself to accuse the press of rudeness. Sad!
If there is one person on this planet who has absolutely no right to complain about rudeness, that person is Donald J. Trump.
