Speaker of the House Paul Ryan’s statement following the CBO releasing a score for his Obamacare replacement that was horrid was completely delusional. Someone better do a welfare check on Speaker Ryan.
The CBO found that 24 million people will lose their health care coverage under Trumpcare, but Speaker Ryan apparently didn’t read the same report as the rest of the country.
In a statement, Speaker Ryan said, “This report confirms that the American Health Care Act will lower premiums and improve access to quality, affordable care. CBO also finds that this legislation will provide massive tax relief, dramatically reduce the deficit, and make the most fundamental entitlement reform in more than a generation. These are things we are achieving in just the first of a three-pronged approach. It’s important to note that this report does not take into consideration additional steps Congress and the Trump administration are taking that will further lower costs and increase choices.”
Nothing that Paul Ryan said in his statement was in the CBO’s report. The CBO report found that premiums would be lower for healthy young people, but higher for older people and people with illnesses. The American Healthcare Act won’t improve access to care because 24 million Americans are going to lose their coverage. The CBO also concluded that the massive tax relief goes to the insurance companies and rich people.
The CBO appears to have broken Paul Ryan because his reaction to the score of this bill is like he is on another planet.
The Ryan bot is down, and apparently in desperate need of repair after reality completely blew his motherboard.
