Women love to be told to smile by random men, it’s part of their freedom marches.
So Donald Trump’s best election buddy Russian President Vladimir Putin took International Women’s Day to remind men that they should support women so women could do important things, like “smile more often.”
“You care day and night for your children, grandchildren and your family. Even today, on International Women’s Day, you are still caught up in your routine, working tirelessly, always on time. We often ask ourselves, how do they manage it all?” Putin asked in a stilted translation, or maybe he’s just awkward when he’s trying to sound supportive, much like our own U.S. President who pretended today that he “respected” women.
“That said, women also need men’s support. We will remember that always, not only today. We will do our outmost (sic) to surround the women we love with care and attention, so that they can.”
Oh, yes. Support us so we can smile more for you. Nothing really says you get us like using international women’s day to remind us that it’s all about our smile.
