Trump Tweets His Pathetic Insecurities as Post-Trump ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ Slumps

Seeing another opportunity to boost his fragile ego, Donald Trump jumped on his Twitter account this morning and blasted his replacement Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ratings on NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice, tweeting that the movie star “got “swamped” (or destroyed) by comparison to the ratings machine, DJT.”

Celebrity Apprentice finished third to CBS and ABC, behind The Bachelor, which crushed Trump’s old show in the sought-after demographic of 18 to 49 years olds. Here is Trump’s reaction:

This prompted a spot-on critique by former independent presidential candidate Evan McMullin:

It wasn’t long ago that Donald Trump took a swipe at a real billionaire, Mark Cuban because Cuban’s shown won two – that’s TWO Primetime Emmy awards – and “ratings machine” Donald J. Trump won exactly ZERO.

In fact, as CNN Money points out, “‘The Apprentice’ has been an on-again, off-again hit franchise for NBC.”

This is our new president, tweeting his insecurities for all the world to see: It is impossible for Arnold Schwarzenegger to be Donald Trump, we are told, and by the way, damn him for not supporting me.

The huge empty chasm at the center of Donald Trump is almost impossible for most of us to fathom. It is as if it demands a steady diet of the souls of those who defied Trump.

Unfortunately, it can never be filled because no amount of failures by Schwarzenegger or anyone else can ever compensate for Trump’s monumental insecurities.
