Donald Trump tried to rally his supporters in Colorado, but instead, he accidentally admitted that he is getting blown out by Hillary Clinton.
While campaigning in Colorado, Trump said:
Even though we’re doing pretty good in the polls, I don’t believe the polls anymore. I don’t believe them. If there’s ten and if there’s one or two bad ones, that the only one they’ll show. Believe me, folks, we’re doing great. If keep our spirit and if we go out and win, this is another Brexit. Believe me. They are so worried. That’s why they become vicious and hostile and dirty because they see what’s going on.
While trying to rally his supporters, Trump accidentally admitted that he is getting blown out.
Trump relationship with the polls has been consistently guided by whether or not they show him winning or losing. When Trump was winning the polls were the most credible source of information on the planet. Now that he is losing, none of the polls are believable.
In Trump speak, this was an admission that he is getting blown out by Hillary Clinton. Trump has gone from all the polls are believable when they showed him winning to none of the polls being credible now that he is losing. The reason why Trump thinks the polls can’t be believed is that they universally show him losing.
As far as Brexit is concerned, the 2016 presidential election is not another Brexit. The Brexit polls were split and close. The US presidential election polls show a clear consensus for growing behind Hillary Clinton.
Donald Trump was trying to rally the troops, but instead, his rant about the polls was confirmation that he is getting his clock cleaned by Hillary Clinton.
