Donald Trump is vowing to never ever drop out of the presidential race, which means that Republicans are getting exactly what they deserve for nominating him.
Trump told The Washington Post that he isn’t going anywhere:
“I’d never withdraw. I’ve never withdrawn in my life,” Trump told The Washington Post in a phone call from his home in Trump Tower in New York. “No, I’m not quitting this race. I have tremendous support.”
“People are calling and saying, ‘Don’t even think about doing anything else but running,” Trump said when asked about GOP defections. “You have to see what’s going on. The real story is that people have no idea the support. I don’t know how that’s going to boil down but people have no idea the support.”
Trump went on to say that he is staying in the race because Hillary Clinton is so bad that Republicans will still support him.
Republicans are getting exactly what they deserve for turning a blind eye and handing Trump their nomination. The GOP is desperately looking for a way out, but by their own rules, they are stuck with Trump. Republicans gave birth to the rise of a nominee like Trump by pushing an anti-woman agenda for years.
Donald Trump is Republicans reaping what they sow. There is no way out for them. Trump isn’t leaving, and it couldn’t happen to a more deserving party.
