Hillary Clinton Humiliated Trump In Front Of Biggest Debate Audience In US History

The ratings are in, and they reveal that Hillary Clinton defeated Donald Trump in front of the biggest debate audience in US history.

CNN reported:

More than 80 million people tuned in to see Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump face off, setting a new record in the sixty year history of televised presidential debates.

The final numbers are still being tallied by Nielsen. But the debate averaged a total of 80.9 million viewers across 12 of the channels that carried it live.

…..

Nor does the 80.9 million viewer total include PBS and C-SPAN. Ratings for PBS will be available later Tuesday.

Many millions also watched the debate via the Internet.

Various live streams on YouTube together registered more than 2.5 million simultaneous viewers. Live streams on other sites also reached millions of people.

This means the actual total audience is significantly higher than 80 million.

The biggest audience ever tuned in to watch Donald Trump run out of steam and look underprepared in his debate against Hillary Clinton. Because of the extreme level of partisanship in the United States, the debate is unlikely to greatly move the needle in Hillary Clinton’s direction, but when all audiences are totaled the viewership will be close to 100 million.

What the record audience saw was a debate between a candidate who is ready to be president and a man who didn’t care enough about the office he was seeking to prepare properly. The debate was a humiliation for Trump. His blustering tough guy image was reduced to a whining reactionary who seemed much more passionate about his business career than his policy positions.

First debates equal first impressions for many viewers, and Trump blew his big chance to show the country that he has the qualifications and temperament of a president.

Donald Trump got his backside handed to him by Hillary Clinton in front of the biggest audience in US debate history.

There has never been a failure as comprehensive as the one Trump delivered at Hofstra University.
