Donald Trump pretended express regret, but it turns out that what Trump regretted was another lie that no person with two active brain cells should believe.

The media went ga-ga went Trump said:
Sometimes, in the heat of debate and speaking on a multitude of issues, you don’t choose the right words or you say the wrong thing. I have done that, and I regret it, particularly where it may have caused personal pain. Too much is at stake for us to be consumed with these issues.
But one thing I can promise you is this: I will always tell you the truth.
(A promise of truth from a man who PolitiFact rated as lying 91% of the time has a 91% chance of being a lie.)
Only an idiot would believe that Donald Trump feels any real regret over anything that he has said during the campaign.
Especially Trump has consistently stated that he regrets nothing.

Here is what Trump said that he was regretful for, “So while sometimes I can be too honest, Hillary Clinton is the exact opposite: she never tells the truth. One lie after another, and getting worse each passing day.”
Trump regrets that he is too honest. Again, non-partisan fact checkers have found that Trump lies between 70% and 91% of the time, which means that the odds are that his claims of honesty are lies.
If Donald Trump keeps paying lip service to political correctness, his own supporters will feel stabbed in the back, but the reading of the paragraph about regrets off of the TelePrompTer was another dose of Trump lies.
The truth is that the only regret that Donald Trump has about the 2016 election is that he is losing to Hillary Clinton.
