Kimberly Guilfoyle Accuses Obama and Clinton of Baiting Trump Into Saying Stupid Things

Last updated on July 17th, 2023 at 09:02 pm

Kimberly “Kill them all ” Guilfoyle regularly dives off the deep end of our fact-filled universe, is now blaming President Obama and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton for all the stupid things Donald Trump says. The Trump apologist claimed Friday on Fox News’ The Five,

“It’s like the most unholy partnership of all time between the Obama Administration, Hillary Clinton, constantly making comments trying to bait Trump into saying something that will sidetrack him.”

Where to begin? First of all, what she is really complaining about is that to Trump’s ridiculous and unfounded claims, Obama and Clinton respond with reason, logic, and a whole lotta fact. Not the sort of stuff Trump wants put up against the tall tales he’s busy spinning.

And then there is the not so insignificant problem of a “man-child president” being so easily baited by people offering fact in response to his folly. A guy so little in control of himself has no business sitting in the Oval Office. Imagine Putin twisting him like a pretzel for his own amusement.

Greg Gutfield pointed out in response to Guilfoyle, “You’re turning him into a spoiled child.” Really, he IS a spoiled child, having proved it on multiple occasions, and Guilfoyle is just adding the exclamation point.

Check it out courtesy of Media Matters for America:

ERIC BOLLING (CO-HOST): Alright, K.G., so he says ISIS founder, she says ISIS recruiter. At the end of the — I mean, what’s the difference?

KIMBERLY GUILFOYLE (CO-HOST): Oh, well it’s just a double standard. And Newt points it out there, because this is specifically about what what word economy, like — Trump’s trying to do it in three, instead of ten. It’s the mind of the businessman, he’s always looking to, like — nail it down, get it done, say what he’s saying. He knows what he’s thinking, but it’s about now being very careful to choose your words to make sure that they don’t misconstrue it.

And what you’ve seen is a concerted effort, really — it’s like the most unholy partnership of all time between the Obama administration, Hillary Clinton, constantly making comments trying to bait Trump into saying something that will sidetrack him, and then the mainstream media refusing to cover the same things when Hillary says it — but it’s — which is very difficult to catch, given the fact that it was like, what, 240-plus days before she did a press conference to answer a question?

They’re protecting her to make sure that they’re safe, that they’re in a safe space for HRC, and then Trump is out there answering questions every day.

GREG GUTFELD (CO-HOST): You’re turning him into a spoiled child. He can rely on you guys to explain, isn’t it exhausting to explain?

Guilfoyle says Trump is “being very careful to choose [his] words.” Egads, woman. That’s careful? I don’t want to see careless.

The really problem here for Guilfoyle is that from her point of view, people are being so unfair to Trump by actually reporting what he says (an argument Trump has also repeatedly made), and then pointing out – when he changes his story – that he did actually say what he said. We’re all supposed to give him a free pass and let him lie freely. It’s what he does best, after all. It’s his wheelhouse, as they say.

Demagoguery just doesn’t work with fact checkers, and in fact, freedom of speech and a free and independent press (this obviously excludes Fox News) is a check on demagoguery. Jumping up with the facts, as the media has begun to do, even as the words are leaving his mouth and pointing out that they’re all lies, is beyond the pale to pride-swollen Trump.

Trump is a guy who tells only one word of truth in ten, so you can readily see the problem people like Guilfoyle face. But to offer in answer that it’s not Trump’s fault for being completely untrustworthy, but Obama’s and Clinton’s for somehow confusing the big baby, is beyond ridiculous. Fox News and Kimberly Guilfoyle, have now become full time Trump apologists.
