Donald Trump’s campaign is so desperate to falsely equate Hillary Clinton’s prospects with the plunging hopes of the Trump for President reality that they tried to spin Hillary Clinton’s press conference as “disastrous”.
You know, ‘cuz talking about issues with detailed competency and having to explain to the press what every word you said meant and why you used it is exactly like reports that you wondered why you can’t use nuclear weapons since we have them, kicking a baby out of your rally, refusing to endorse the leaders of your party and being forced to finally do so in a petulant and sad way in public like a rebellious teenager, and insulting a Gold Star family.

TRUMP TOWER BRAIN DUMP: “Trump campaign feeling good today after another excellent day on the road with Mr. Trump yesterday (Ryan/McCain/Ayotte endorsement, continuing the pressure over the $400 million cash Iran ransom deal, great crowds, high energy) as compared to Hillary Clinton’s disastrous ‘half’ press conference that rehashed all her vulnerabilities on both the national security email scandal and her robot like nature on the campaign trail (with a special ‘80’s shout out to Michael Keaton and ‘Short Circuit’).”
Yes, the man who said we should get rid of the free press because he is not like other people is now calling Hillary Clinton out for her half press conference. In February, Trump said of the free press, ““With me, they’re not protected, because I’m not like other people…We’re gonna…have people sue you like you never get sued before.”
If Hillary Clinton had said that, she’d be under five separate Republican-led House investigations. If Hillary Clinton used the press as a scapegoat at every rally and encouraged violence toward the press and mocked the press under the auspices of having a “press conference”, we would not hear the end of it. These are things Donald Trump does to the press.
Trump’s attempt to make Hillary Clinton’s usage of the words “short circuit” a thing is pathetic. He is plunging in the polls, and right now is even losing the South to Hillary Clinton. He and his campaign are delusional if they think Hillary Clinton had a bad week.
Hillary Clinton “short circuited” as in condensed words that she could have been more careful and specific with. That is nothing like causing Republican national security experts to flee to Hillary Clinton because your behavior is so erratic. That is nothing like causing Republicans to explain that Donald Trump must not be trusted with the power of the office. That is nothing like a CIA agent explaining that your vulnerable ego has been exploited by Putin and you are an “unwitting agent of the Russian Federation.” Unwitting indeed.
That is nothing like leading all thinking people to suspect you suffer from an untreated mental illness causing you to imagine you see money transfers on videos that do not exist and to not understand that there is a difference between what you want to believe and reality.
Donald Trump is a short circuit. He is in free fall and the press praising the fact that he managed to go for 24 hours without metaphorically slitting his own wrists on TV is hardly an endorsement.
At his best, Donald Trump is announcing that he knows nothing. That is his best game. At his worst, Donald Trump is announcing that he is not fit or competent to be Hillary Clinton’s assistant, let alone President of the United States.
