Porn Addicted Republican Hypocrites Declare Porn A Public Health Crisis

The same Republican Party that will nominate Donald Trump and contains eight of the top ten porn consuming states has passed a plank to their convention platform declaring porn to be a public health crisis.

Yahoo News reported:

Republican delegates unanimously adopted an amendment to their draft platform Monday morning that called pornography “a public health crisis” and a “public menace” that is destroying lives.

The language went further in its condemnation of porn than the 2012 GOP platform, which condemned child pornography and encouraged the enforcement of obscenity and pornography laws.

“Pornography, with his harmful effects, especially on children, has become a public health crisis that is destroying the life of millions. We encourage states to continue to fight this public menace and pledge our commitment to children’s safety and wellbeing,” the amendment stated.

The problem is that eight of the top ten state consumers of porn are red states. As PoliticusUSA pointed out when Republicans went on their most recent presidential election year anti-porn jihad , “Of these top eight six have now voted in the Republican 2012 primary, and Rick Santorum has won five of them. Santorum has won in the third (Mississippi), fifth (Oklahoma), sixth (Arkansas), seventh (North Dakota), and eighth (Louisiana). Mitt Romney can take comfort in knowing that he has won the second (Alaska), and he is a lock to win number one (Utah). West Virginia has yet to vote, but one could easily see Mountaineer State supporting Rick Santorum.”

Many of these Republicans are living in states that are being overwhelmed by the opioid addiction crisis. Heroin addiction is also sweeping through red states, but what these Republicans are most worried about is porn.

Republicans are so deep into their crisis of self-denial that they are passing planks about porn after they chose Donald Trump to be their presidential nominee.

Red states are addicted to porn, yet, hypocritical Republican delegates are pretending to be moral.

Do as I say and not as I do has never applied more to anyone than it does to the scornful porn addicts in the Republican Party.
