Jeb Bush really doesn’t have much confidence in his party’s presumptive nominee, Donald Trump.
In an interview on MSNBC, the former Florida governor and failed presidential candidate told Nicolle Wallace that Trump’s insane policy proposals are dead on arrival, even if the spray-tanned buffoon wins in November.
Video:
Bush said that Trump created an “alternate universe” and if he wins in November, “people are really going to feel betrayed” when the alleged billionaire’s promises inevitably go unfulfilled.
“The tragedy of this, though, is that there isn’t going to be a wall built. And Mexico’s not going to pay for it. And there’s not going to be a ban on Muslims,” for former governor said. “The reality is, that’s not going to happen. And people are going to be deeply frustrated and the divides will grow in our country.”
Bush said that Trump was able to “manipulate the environment to his effect” during the primary campaign, but the presumptive GOP nominee basically wrote a check he’ll never be able to cash if he makes it to the White House.
He basically told us what we already know about Trump – that he will say and do anything to win votes, even if knows he can’t follow through.
