Donald Trump Humiliates Himself With Pathetic Teleprompter Attack Speech On Clinton

Last updated on July 17th, 2023 at 07:03 pm

Donald Trump gave an embarrassing speech that full of empty attacks on Hillary Clinton that was nothing more than a pathetic attempt to save his sinking campaign.

There were so many things wrong with Trump’s teleprompter speech. Trump claimed that he was beating Hillary Clinton when the polls show that he is losing to Clinton by 11 points. Trump tried to appeal to Bernie Sanders voters, but he is everything that Sanders voters despise. Trump tried to be the anti-special interest candidate when he is the special interests.

Video:

Trump said, “The Clintons have turned the politics of personal enrichment into an art form for themselves. They’ve made hundreds of millions of dollars selling access, sell favors, selling government contracts, and I mean hundreds of millions of dollars. Sec. Clinton even did all of the work on a totally illegal private server, something that how she’s getting away with folks nobody understands. Designed to keep all of her corrupt dealing out of the public record, putting the security of the entire country at risk, and a president in a corrupt system is totally protecting her. Not right…Hillary Clinton turned the State Department into her private hedge fund. The Russians, the Chinese, the Saudis all gave money to Bill and Hillary, and got favorable treatment in return.”

As his campaign sinks under the weight of his racism, Donald Trump tried to change the subject. Trump read a bunch of talking points about putting America first, but his speech contained no policy.

It was clear that the Republican Party hooked Trump up to a teleprompter and gave him boilerplate Republican speech that was a combination of decades-old attacks on Hillary Clinton and the same empty talking points that have caused Republicans to lose 4 of the last six presidential elections.

Trump’s speech was pathetic because it revealed how completely outmatched the presumptive Republican nominee is on the biggest political stage. Trump is flailing and his speech tonight was the most concrete omen that his campaign is on the ropes and fading fast.
