While campaigning in California, former President Bill Clinton destroyed Donald Trump over the presumptive Republican nominee’s refusal to release his tax returns.

Former President Clinton said:
Now look at this. You talk about the difference between two candidates. She thinks that everybody who has an income of a million dollars or more from whatever source should pay a minimum of thirty percent of their income in taxes. She has released more than two decades of our tax returns, and since we left the White House, we averaged forty percent of our income in taxes and her opponent who never tires of telling us how much richer he is than the rest of us won’t release his tax returns. Do you really think he’s going to be a force for raising working people’s incomes?
Bill Clinton crushed Donald Trump. One of the major issues of this campaign will Trump’s honesty. By refusing to release his tax returns, Donald Trump is making it easy for Democrats by building the perception of dishonesty for them.
The general election hasn’t officially started yet, and already Trump is facing a big problem. There is no one on the Republican side who can go out and speak for the presumptive Republican nominee in the same way that former President Clinton campaigns for the former Secretary of State. The situation will become dire for Trump when the Clintons are joined by President and First Lady Obama on the campaign trail this fall.
The Clintons, the Obamas, and Senators like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are all going to be able to campaign across this country with a message that is designed to defeat Trump.
Once Democrats get rolling, Donald Trump is going to realize that beating lightweights like Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, and Jeb Bush did nothing to prepare him for the what is coming this fall.
Former President Clinton is just getting warmed up. Trump is about to find out that his Twitter account is useless when he is being taken down by a former president.
