Donald Trump Humiliates Himself By Not Knowing How The Internet Works During CNN Debate

Wolf Blitzer asked Trump about his plan to close down the Internet to stop ISIS and Trump’s answer suggested that he doesn’t know how the Internet works.

Trump said:

You talk freedom of speech. You talk anything you want. I don’t want them using our Internet to take our young impressionable youth and watching the media talking about their masterminds. They shouldn’t be using the word masterminds. These are thugs. These are terrible people in ISIS not masterminds and we have to change it from every standpoint.

We should be using our brilliant people our most brilliant minds to figure a way that ISIS can not use the Internet. On second, we should be able to penetrate the Internet and find out where ISIS is and everything about ISIS, and we can do that if we use our good people.

I would certainly be open to closing areas where we are at war with somebody. I certainly don’t want to let people who want to kill us and kill our nation use our Internet.

Donald Trump apparently believes that the entire Internet operates like your home WiFi network, in that each country has their own Internet. Trump has no idea what the Internet is, or how it actually works.

Trump’s plan comes from the same brain that thinks building a big wall will keep the Mexican immigrants out, and that we can just ban all Muslims and stop the terrorists from entering the United States.

Donald Trump knows nothing, and his complete ignorance is why he is winning the Republican primary.
