Hillary Clinton Obliterates Republicans With A Truth Bomb Comparing Them To Terrorists

Republicans would really appreciate it if 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton would refrain from the truth, especially as it pertains to their backward policies on women.

Video:

Former Secretary Clinton laid it on the line today at a rally in Ohio when she likened Republican’s policies on women to those of terrorists’ treatment of women.

“Now, extreme views about women, we expect that from some of the terrorist groups. We expect that from people who don’t want to live in the modern world,” Clinton said. “But it’s a little hard to take coming from Republicans who want to be the president of the United States.”

Copy that, Madame Secretary.

Unlike Republicans’ vague and conspiratorial complaints, Sec. Clinton got specific. She attacked former Florida Governor Jeb Bush for wanting to defund Planned Parenthood, she called out Florida Senator Marco Rubio for being against abortion even in cases of rape or incest, and then she moved on to slay even “moderate” appearing Ohio Governor John Kasich for banning state funding to rape crisis centers in Ohio.

Republicans were super upset. So upset that they fell back on their Planned Parenthood canard, even though what they are accusing Planned Parenthood of is legal, and the videos they have been breathlessly hawking were found to be – surprise! – edited and legally unreliable as evidence, and found unworthy of journalists attention.

2016 Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush couldn’t argue the facts, so he jumped on the Planned Parenthood Fox News bus, tweeting:

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, whose state seems to loathe him right now, tweeted, “.@HillaryClinton, the only thing extreme is taking a position that doesn’t protect these lives. #ProLife”

Of course, Walker can’t really make that argument in a debate setting where facts matter, because he has signed into law legislation that doesn’t allow for an abortion even when the mother’s life is at risk. So, kinda not pro-life when you’re passing laws that will kill women.

There was a lot more Republican poutrage and congratulations to Jeb Bush for telling Clinton off.

But no one could deny the truth behind the Democratic candidate’s words. Republican policies mimic those of the terrorists they demonize, and for the same allegedly religious reasons.

There are plenty of American Christians who are pro-choice, who don’t support forcing women to bear children when they’ve been raped, or forcing them to die in order to save a fetus. The problem for Republicans is that Hillary Clinton was dead on right about their policies. And all they can do in response is demonize Planned Parenthood, where millions of American women get cancer screening and health check-ups and, of course, get access to the single best way to reduce abortions — birth control.
