Sick And Tired Of Republican Nonsense Obama Calls Senate Republicans “The Crazies”

President Obama is clearly sick of Republican games and drama. At an event in Nevada, the President called Senate Republicans “the crazies.”

At a Democratic event in Nevada, President Obama said:

It’s hard for me to express how much I love Harry Reid, but it’s easier to do it in a room of people who love Harry Reid. Harry and I drove over here together and we were doing a little reminiscing, and then figuring out how we’re going to deal with the crazies in terms of managing some problems. And then we talked about riding off into the sunset together.

Everything I’ve accomplished, I’ve accomplished because Harry Reid was there by my side. And I am forever grateful for his friendship and his strength, because the thing about Harry is he’s a great politician but he’s also a man with a lot of backbone and is willing to do hard things when it’s required, and that’s what you want out of a political leader.

President Obama called Mitch McConnell and his Senate Republicans crazies. When one examines the facts, Obama has a point. The Senate Republicans are trying to kill a diplomatic deal on Iran’s nuclear program to pursue more military action in the Middle East.

Senate Republicans are attempting to defund Planned Parenthood, take away health care from 30 million Americans, and are threatening to shutdown the government and cause a default, because they are pursuing an ideological agenda that is detached from reality.

Earlier this month, Obama called out Republicans for aligning themselves with the death to America extremists in Iran who oppose the nuclear agreement.

Obama has had to put up with Republican manufactured crisis and drama all through his presidency, and it is clear that he is sick of it. The President isn’t holding back anymore. He is letting his feelings of disgust be known.

One of the biggest problems in American politics is that the country only has one party that is interested in governing. Republicans are more interested in using their Congressional majority to cater to the billionaires who fund their campaigns, and running bogus investigations than they are serving the American people.

As the nation steels itself for another month of Republican drama, and dysfunction as the country is about to be pushed to the brink of a financial catastrophe, President Obama is telling it like it is.

Republicans are crazy, and it has been his job to prevent the crazies from destroying the country.
