Scott Walker Goes Full Scumbag By Refusing To Admit That Obama Is A Christian

In a deplorable move, Republican presidential candidate Scott Walker refused to admit that President Obama is a Christian.

Time reported:

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker still isn’t sure President Obama is Christian.

“I don’t know,” the Republican presidential candidate said Saturday during an appearance before 450 donors to the political network backed by conservative billionaires Charles and David Koch. “I presume he is,” Walker continued when asked if he has had time to check since he set off a firestorm in February when he couldn’t answer if the President is Christian.

“You’re not going to get a different answer than I said before,” Walker said toward the end of a Q&A session moderated by Politico’s Mike Allen. Walker said he’s never asked Obama about his faith. “As someone who is a believer myself, I don’t presume to know someone’s beliefs about whether they follow Christ or not unless I’ve actually talked with him.”

President Obama is a Christian. It is clear to everyone, but Republicans who want pander to the bigots in their party that Obama is a Christian. Here is what President Obama said at this year’s Easter Prayer Breakfast, “On Easter, I do reflect on the fact that as a Christian, I am supposed to love. And I have to say that sometimes when I listen to less than loving expressions by Christians, I get concerned. But that’s a topic for another day.”

This garbage of Republicans playing dumb when it comes to the President’s faith or his birth certificate only serves to make the GOP look insane. Scott Walker has been struggling to gain traction as a presidential candidate, so his answer on Obama’s faith is best viewed through the prism of a desperate candidate pandering to the hatred and bigotry of his party.

President Obama has served his country with honor and dignity. There have been no scandals during the Obama administration, and the President has served as a shining example of a good family man and Christian.

Walker’s answer was pure sleaze, and after the Bush years, the American people should be skeptical of electing another Republican president who is so capable of denying reality.
