Obama Does What the Media Won’t: He Calls What Bill Cosby Is Accused of “Rape”

President Obama was asked Wednesday during his press conference on the Iran deal (during which much stupidity was to be had in between listening to the President’s stunning and noteworthy depth of knowledge on the topic) if he could revoke Bill Cosby’s Medal of Freedom.

The President explained that there is no mechanism to do so, “And with respect to the Medal of Freedom, there’s no precedent for revoking a medal. We don’t have that mechanism.”

“And as you know, I tend to make it a policy not to comment on the specifics of cases where there might still be, if not criminal, then civil issues involved,” Obama continued.

BUT.

“I’ll say this: If you give a woman — or a man, for that matter — without his or her knowledge, a drug, and then have sex with that person without consent, that’s rape. And I think this country — any civilized country — should have no tolerance for rape.”

No tolerance for rape. It is rape when you drug someone without their knowledge and then have sex with them without their consent.

It’s not hard to define rape properly but for some reason our culture hates the word and our media avoids it at all costs, especially when it refers to a hero.

Rape is rape. A drugged person can’t consent. Many women all came forward with the same story about Bill Cosby but no one wanted to listen. They only really started believing when Bill Cosby’s deposition from a 2005 lawsuit was released, in which he admitted getting drugs to have sex with women.

President Obama just did what our media and culture is too afraid to do.

Well done, again, Sir, as confronting rape and having no tolerance for it are very important ways to push for a better, safer world. The President is on a roll.
