Sarah Palin thinks that Melissa Harris-Perry’s MSNBC ad calling for an investment in public education is evidence that MSNBC thinks your children don’t belong to you.
Sarah Palin: Apparently MSNBC doesn’t think your children belong to you. Unflippingbelievable. http://t.co/o9Ap4wHxjv
Here’s the proof that Melissa Harris-Perry is a commie coming for your children (aka, her narration):
MHP narration: “We have never invested as much in public education as we should have because we’ve always had kind of a private notion of children. Your kid is yours and totally your responsibility. We haven’t had a very collective notion of ‘these are our children. So part of it is we have to break through our kind of private idea that ‘kids belong to their parents,’ or ‘kids belong to their families’ and recognize that kids belong to whole communities. Once it’s everybody’s responsiblity and not just the household’s, then we start making better investments.”
If only Sarah Palin had let the community educate her… Imagine where she might be today. Ah, well. I don’t know about you, but I fear a Commie takeover akin to the (lie of the year) Death Panels of 2010. How many Americans have to be taken by the evil liberal overlord of socialism before someone stops this travesty?
Newsbusters is responsible for putting Sarah Palin in the spotlight again (bonus: We finally know what Sarah Palin “reads”). They must have jacked her up when on April 4, Ken Shepherd wrote, “Now it appears that Harris-Perry thinks that, after they’re born, children fundamentally belong to the state” and likened the ad to the “undergirded the Cultural Revolution in Communist China under Chairman Mao.” Oh, yes. Can I call you Ken?
We’re not done with Ken yet. Where’s the air between investing in public education and telling people how many kids they can have? ZERO! That’s right, patriots, “”[T]he cost to raise a child (is) $10,000 a year up to $20,000 a year,” and if children should be viewed as collectively “owned” by “society,” then taken to its logical extension, a woman’s choices about having a child should be informed by the economic considerations of the “community,” would it not? But of course, that logic would take someone to justify, for example, the “one-child” policy in Communist China.”
Did you think my Death Panels reminder was too harsh? It’s not like anyone said the liberals were coming for the children. Oh, wait… Rush Limbaugh has insight into how public education leads to death:
“What is the practical application?” he continued. “But what she is saying — Melissa Harris-Perry, what she is saying here is as old as communist genocide. But the fact that it is said in America on a cable news channel and is considered fairly benign is what has changed. What has changed is that this really — people believe this. This isn’t that big a deal. That is what’s changed, folks.”
FFS, who is going to challenge MSNBC on communist genocide!? Why hasn’t anyone caleld MSNBC out on this? GENOCIDE I tell you. DEATH PANELS! Give your children to Big Government NOW. Also, vote Republican.
Investing in public education is just like genocide. And private health insurance exchanges are just like a government take-over leading to death panels… Only, not.
So now you finally know what Sarah Palin reads, though I’m sure you’re less than shocked to discover that Ms. Palin is anti-education. No one enjoys feeling like the world left them behind.
