Sarah Palin Unveils 2012 Strategy: Insane Racism Redux

Last updated on February 8th, 2013 at 02:25 am

Sarah Palin was on Fox News’ Hannity last night lecturing Obama on how he needs to stop trying to take this county back to pre-Civil War times when people weren’t equal to work hard. We all know slaves never worked hard, and were glad when their long fight to gain equal standing to work hard was finally won. The South was right! The Civil War was not about slavery, it was about independence!

Palin thinks that Obama is quaking in his shoes hoping no one figures out that he introduced a professor and asked people to welcome him with “open hearts and minds” because nothing says dangerous for America like an open heart and mind. She pursed her lips disapprovingly over the failure of the media to vet the President and said we all know now about his radical agenda (for jobs, the sinner!).

PALIN: Well, what we can gleam from this is an understanding of why we are all on the road that we are on and it’s based on what went into his thinking, being surrounded by radicals. He is bringing us back Sean to days that… you can harken back to days before the Civil War, when unfortunately too many Americans mistakenly believed that not all men were created equal. And it was the Civil War that began the codification of the truth here in America…

Yes, we are equal and we all have equal opportunities, not based on the color of your skin.

You have equal opportunities to work hard and to succeed and to embrace the opportunities, God given opportunities to develop resources and work extremely hard and as I say, to succeed.
Now, it has taken all these years for many Americans to understand that that gravity, that mistake, took place before the Civil War and why the Civil War had to really start changing America. What Barack Obama seems to want to do is go back to before those days when we were in different classes based on income, based on color of skin.

Why are we allowing our country to move backwards instead of moving forward with that understanding that as our charters of liberty spell out for us, we are all created equally.

Obviously, Sarah is wrong about one thing: We are not all created equally. Some of us are given charm and good looks but very little grey matter to work with and sometimes that makes us mean and spiteful, but her point is well taken. You may not be aware of this, but we are no longer in different classes based on income, oh freedom! Or skin color, oh liberty! There is no 1% stealing your opportunities for fairness and equal work (also known as “quitting”). We fixed all of that in the Civil War. Try to keep up.

It’s Obama and minorities like him who are oppressing the rest of the country by trying to take us back to pre-Civil War days when they had the privilege of fanning white women on a steamy porch in August and never had to worry about their home or family because they weren’t allowed to have them. Oh, demon!

Palin is going to ride her waning media relevance before she reveals herself to be a cheap coward again when she stands smirking at the convention, pretending she doesn’t care when this doesn’t happen (the following was written by M.K., a PoliticusUSA author, in an email to me in response to my last Palin article regarding her brokered convention threats ):

I am not a bit surprised. I think the extremely delusional SP has a little film playing on a continuous loop in her mind that looks some thing like this:

The convention hall is packed, and the air is thick with frustration and anxiety as Mittens and the Pope continue to throw the same tired old “he’s a liar”, “he’s a moderate ” jabs at each other. The crowd is growing restless and dejected as the thought finally dawns that this is no way to win an election.

The rear doors swing open to reveal a glowing SP entering the arena, attired in a formfitting black pleather jacket and skirt, and sling back five inch pumps.

The crowd gasps, then jumps to their feet chanting, “Sarah! Sarah! Sarah!”

SP smiles broadly. She knows that they are beholding their savior. “Save Us, Sarah!” shouts begin to be heard. SP takes a deep breath as she walks down the long aisle, the crowd straining to touch her outstretched hands. She has arrived to claim what she has believed would be hers since 2008. She ascends the stage, glides confidently to the microphone, and shouts, “I accept your nomination!”

Ah, dreams. She coulda been a contender were it not for mean old Republican strategist Steve Schmidt and that lying Kenyan who pulled the wool over the eyes of Americans, Barack Hussein Obama. Well, this country is getting their’s now, I tell ya’!

Palin blamed Steve Schmidt for not allowing her to talk about Barack Obama in 2008. Steve tried to save Palin from her special Sarah-constructed world in 2008, when she wanted to lie to the public about her husband’s membership in the secessionist party (she wanted to call it and did call it the “Independent Party”) and again when she wanted to misrepresent her past by claiming that she and Todd didn’t have health insurance early in their marriage, when in fact they did.

But since Sarah Palin doesn’t have the guts to put herself out there after quitting on her bus tour post Paul Revere debacle, she has no one to blame for her failure to be a contender but herself. It appears that her “strategy” in 2012 is the same 2008 redux strategy the Republican Party is using, albeit slightly more nuts after being tossed about in the bitter refuge of Sarah Palin’s brain.

There’s no Steve Schmidt to save Sarah Palin from herself now. She’s gone rogue nuts.
