Bachmann Blames Democrats for Sabotaging Sarah Palin

Last updated on August 10th, 2014 at 05:08 pm

In an interview with World Net Daily, Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann claimed that Democrats are sabotaging both her and Sarah Palin because they want to see a Democratic woman become president first. Bachmann said, “So they’re doing everything they can to, I think, sabotage women like Sarah Palin.”

Here is the audio courtesy of Think Progress:

Bachmann said, “Also with women politicians, they want to make sure no women, no woman becomes president before a Democrat woman, and so they’re doing everything they can to, I think, sabotage women like Sarah Palin, perhaps women like myself, or similarly situated women, to make sure that we don’t have a prominent national voice. But the thing is, the people in our country, they don’t care who the voice is, they just want someone, they want to know that someone is speaking out for them against what will certainly bring about the destruction of our great country if we continue to go down the Obama path.”

This is great news for Democrats, as it would seem that we are one step closer to realizing our dream Republican ticket of Palin/Bachmann. Democrats aren’t sabotaging Bachmann and Palin. They are both sabotaging themselves by their combination of fringe appeal and lack of intellect. They both want to be famous more than they want to do the work that it takes to be a quality public servant.

I can’t believe that either Bachmann or Palin would think that they are qualified to be president, when the case can be made that each of them aren’t even qualified for their respective current and former jobs. Instead of thinking about the White House, Bachmann should wake up every day and thank her lucky stars that she represents what might be the only district in America that would re-elect her.

The Democrats didn’t sabotage Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin did that one all on her own. Palin sunk her own approval numbers by revealing herself to be completely unqualified to be vice president. The fact that Bachmann has chosen to blame Democrats for her own short comings demonstrated just how not ready for big time politics she actually is.
