House Republicans To Release Delusional Report Claiming Putin Didn’t Help Trump

House Intelligence Committee Republicans will be writing a delusional report that claims that there was no collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign and that Putin did not try to help Trump win.

Manu Raju of CNN reported:

House Intelligence Committee Republicans are going to craft a report that echoes all of the president’s talking points, while ignoring the evidence that was collected by the intelligence community that Putin was interfering in the election to help Trump win.

Trump puppet and House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) said in a statement provided to PoliticusUSA, “After more than a year, the Committee has finished its Russia investigation and will now work on completing our report. I’d like to thank Congressmen Trey Gowdy, Tom Rooney, and especially Mike Conaway for the excellent job they’ve done leading this investigation. I’d also like to recognize the hard work undertaken by our other Committee members as well as our staff. Once the Committee’s final report is issued, we hope our findings and recommendations will be useful for improving security and integrity for the 2018 midterm elections.”

Republicans ended the investigation into the Russia scandal without supoenaing witnesses, documents, and text messages. The Republican report will be written with singular goal in mind of protecting Trump, and trying to give him political cover from whatever Robert Mueller finds.

House Republicans have sold themselves out to Trump and Putin, and their response is a reason why there also needs to be an investigation into Devin Nunes and his conduct in derailing the House Russia probe.
