ABC’s Cecilia Vega asked if there were recordings of the call to La David Johnson’s widow. Sanders answered, “No, but there were several people in the room from the administration that were on the call including Chief of Staff, Gen. John Kelly.”
Trump’s “proof” that he didn’t insult the widow of Sgt. La David Johnson by not knowing the fallen soldier’s name and telling his family that he knew what he signed up for was a lie. If there were other members of the administration on the call, why hasn’t the public heard from any of them?
It has been Trump’s worthless word against that of several witnesses.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders tried to blame the media and move the goalposts by claiming that the press is focused on process, which isn’t true. The press is focused on the President’s refusal to acknowledge the deaths, and then behaving disrespectfully to a grieving family.
Trump’s proof just like many of the words that come out of his mouth was a total lie.
