In Phoenix, Donald Trump threatened to shut down the US government if Democrats and Congress won’t pay for his border wall that Mexico was supposed to pay for.
Video:
Trump said, “Now, the obstructionist Democrats would like us not to do it, but believe me if we have to close down our government, we’re building that wall.”
The President’s plan is to shut down the government, and blame Democrats in the Senate for not funding his wall.
Trump promised during the campaign that Mexico would pay for the wall. The President was later caught begging Mexico’s president to stop saying that Mexico won’t pay for the wall. If there was one thing that Trump could do after supporting Nazis that would make him even less popular, it would be to close down the government over funding for a border wall that the most of the country doesn’t want.
If Trump wants his wall built, he should fulfill his campaign promise, and get Mexico to pay for it, because Democrats aren’t going to support spending one red cent.
