The President claimed that all sides committed acts of violence in Charlottesville, VA, but the person who rammed a car into a crowd of people killing one and injuring 19 idolized Hitler and held white supremacist views.
The Washington Post reported on the domestic terrorist, James Alex Fields Jr., “A man accused of plowing a car into a crowd of protesters here — killing one person and leaving 19 injured — long sympathized with Nazi views and had stood with a group of white supremacists hours before Saturday’s bloody crash. The accused driver, James Alex Fields Jr., 20, of Ohio, had espoused extremist ideals at least since high school, according to Derek Weimer, a history teacher.”
There were not all sides committing acts of violence in Charlottesville. There were racists committing acts of violence.
Donald Trump continues to make excuses for racists, and nobody in the media has yet to ask him why he does this. The White House intentionally left Jewish people out of their Holocaust Remembrance Day statement. Trump has been sued for housing discrimination by the federal government.
None of his statements should surprise anyone, but it is becoming impossible for the press to deny the fact that Trump covers up for racists because he shares their beliefs. The Charlottesville terrorist was a white supremacist, yet, Trump still won’t say those two words.
Trump’s racism has been exposed, so now it is time for the press to start talking about it.
